Residential Deliveries

My ship to address is my house, not a company, what do I need to do?

Residential locations often require special handling, such as a liftgate or smaller delivery truck, since standard semi-trailers may not be able to safely access residential streets.

Please provide your delivery hours and phone number so the carrier can contact you.

This applies to both small parcel carriers and freight carriers alike. By providing accurate delivery information and selecting the proper accessorials upfront, you help ensure a smooth delivery process and avoid unexpected delays or costly re-delivery fees.

Accessorial Fee Options During Checkout:
*LTL Orders only.

Notification Prior to Delivery: To be notified prior to your delivery.

Time-Specific Delivery: To schedule a delivery time with your carrier.

Inside Delivery: For the delivery to be placed inside.

Lift Gate Service, REQUIRED IF NO DOCK: A Lift Gate is required for all LTL deliveries if there is no dock available at the delivery site. If a dock is present, a lift gate is not necessary. Please note that if a lift gate is used but not selected at the time of shipment, additional charges may apply.

Special Truck: A special truck is needed for semi-restricted access.

Limited Access Delivery: A shipment that requires special handling due to restricted or challenging delivery locations.
